A wonderful scenic cruise in a relaxed quiet atmosphere Such a relaxing trip around the inlet on a lovely old boat with a very quiet electric motor. We enjoyed a lovely lazy cruise on a gorgeous early spring day with an on shore cuppa thrown in and lots of history from our captain, including a visit to a very old midden where indigenous families had feasted on sea food for generations.

Pleasant cruise on the inlet. Spent a very pleasant 3 hours on the Wagonga Princess today. We learnt a lot about the local history, the oyster industry and saw things and places we wouldn’t have the opportunity to see otherwise. To cap it all off enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea and short walk at the farthermost point of the inlet.

Chilled Afternoon on the Princess in paradise My wife and I had the best afternoon out. Silence in the 100 year old electric boat, great stories about the pioneers of Narooma and Wagonga. Some fascinating indigenous history and a walk in their footsteps to an amazing midden at afternoon tea. Afternoon tea was delicious, saw lots if birds, snuck up on a seal and the skipper/owner, David was fantastic, a character, plenty of stories and good company. Thanks David for a great afternoon out.

Beautiful time, highly recommended. David is an excellent captain of this charming 1920’s boat. It’s low slung in the water, and a lovely peaceful glide across the lake. We took the sunset cruise, David provided just the right balance of information and contemplation. The perfect end to a day, highly recommend. Wish we could have done one of the longer cruises.

Really special experience An informative and attentive - yet pleasantly laid-back - cruise. The boat is a dead ringer for The African Queen and quietly glides around this calm waterway. We saw a seal swim past us, also a sea eagle above, as the sun slipped behind the trees. Recommended!

Very Informative Trip This was a very informative couple of hour trip on the Wagonga inlet. Charlie ties the local sights in with his families upbringing on the inlet and has historical photos to dress the stories. The boat is eco friendly being driven by an electric motor.

Bloody Brilliant Best $30 you can spend. Had a great couple of hours on the Wagonga Princess. Charlie (the Captain) has a few tall tales to tell as well as being full of information as you cruise the inlet. Make a booking you won’t regret it

Punkala or bust This has to be one of the most peaceful, informative and reasonably priced trips going. Charlie has a good stock of historical photos to explain each pause in the journey as the silent electric motor smoothly cuts the placid waters of Wagonga. Charlie has a history on these waters going back generations and he is a character (not many left) which makes it all the more enjoyable. Not sure how suitable it would be for young children as you need to pay attention to the talk. Highly recommended.

Peaceful afternoon I am visiting from the uk and this trip was recommended by the managers of Oakleigh Farm Cottages Mystery Bay. Although it was an overcast day that didn’t detract from a very enjoyable and informative 2hr trip. Charlie the skipper has lived here all his life and knows everything about the inlet. A very enjoyable afternoon and very peaceful with the electric motor.
