Narooma. The premier destination for cruising the pristine inlets of the NSW South Coast

Cruise on a historical vessel
Over 118 years old, the historic Wagonga Princess offers regular 2 hour cruises at 10:30 am, She is whisper quiet, propelled by an electric engine and her batteries are charged by the sun. Consequently this is Eco tourism at its finest.
There are many things to do around Narooma during your visit. In addition to taking a cruise, we have many water related activities such as surfing, snorkling, diving or simply taking a stroll along many of the regions stunning beaches. On the other hand you may want to try out the stunning Narooma Golf Course. Click the link below to find out more. Above all and most noteworthy is the Wagonga Inlet cruise. However, this is a biased opinion. 🙂
Best 3 hours relaxing
The best way to spend 3 hours. Fantastic inlet cruise. peaceful and quite watching the wildlife and scenery go by. the Captain extremely knowledgeable of the history of both Aboriginal and early settlers. stopped off for banana bread and coffee and a walk of the areas history. coming to Narooma this definitely has to be on your bucket list.

A beautiful winter afternoon on Wagonga inlet
The Wagonga Princess is a beautiful old timber boat and Dave her captain will take you out on the Wagonga inlet for 2 or 3 hour tours.
There were 4 of us on the 1pm tour which is for 3 hours. Dave has great info on the history of the area as well as the native bush and birds. Delicious afternoon tea was served after a short walk around the site of the old Wagonga township on the upper reaches of the inlet.
This is a great way to spend an afternoon in Narooma.

A great afternoon on the water
A beautiful historic boat, stunning scenery and well/informed relaxed commentary from our skipper all added up to a perfect afternoon’s cruising. This beautiful 1905 Huon pine vessel has been refitted with electric propulsion so it is quiet and pollution free. Amazing how much history is attached to the inlet, from First Nations shell middens through to early colonial settlement and 20th century industry. We travelled on the 2pm 3 hour cruise; a great afternoon.

Lovely afternoon sunset cruise
We did the sunset cruise over the Easter long weekend. We had a lovely afternoon, the scenery was beautiful and very relaxing. There was plenty of food to graze on. Can bring BYO drinks. Well worth doing when in Narooma!

A ‘must do’ while in Narooma
Our family did this fantastic sunset cruise over the Easter long weekend. It was a highlight of our visit to Narooma.
The sunset over the water and surrounding area was just beautiful. There were other friendly guests who were up for a chat, as was the host Dave with his informative commentary.
The food provided was great and the BYO wine and beer a bonus. An absolute ‘must do’ while in Narooma. Don’t miss it!

Perfect sunset afternoon on the Wagonga Princess - thoroughly recommend it!
A magical highlight of our trip down south. Thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and sunset cruise as Captain Dave navigated around the Wagonga Inlet with stories and history of this naturally beautiful part of the world. With some smooth laid-back music playing, the atmosphere and the surroundings were perfect, in the accompaniment of a great selection of finger food and our own chilled wine. This was a magical way to end the day. We are coming back soon with our friends. Must do if you are in the area!

Absolutely loved this cruise
I had the pleasure of experiencing a very relaxing and informative cruise with Dave the Captain. We explored the inlet and Dave provided some very interesting information on the area and its history as well as the boats history. The boat was a pleasure to cruise in and I look forward to experiencing it again. I was also lucky enough to capture some amazing pictures of the sea eagles which are native to the area.
